On Friday, November 30, 2007, several Groom Law Group attorneys attended the 23rd Annual Night of Trees Auction Gala in support of the District of Columbia Chapter Special Olympics. The event was well attended, and raised funds for a great cause. Groom was a Gold Sponsor for the event, and was recognized with the other sponsors for its contribution to this event that ushers in the holiday season.

For thirty-eight years, Special Olympics DC has provided sports training for citizens with intellectual disabilities. Athletic competition provides athletes with increased confidence and self-esteem and allows them to demonstrate courage and experience the joy of sport. Athletes of all ability levels participate in the Program and all are recognized for their performance. Groom proudly supports their efforts.
