Gary has recently been quoted in three articles regarding United Airlines.

In the July 15, 2004, issue of the The New York Times, Gary stated, "the consequences of missing a payment in bankruptcy are a lot less severe than the consequences outside of bankruptcy," in the article titled United Delays Payments To Pensions

In the July 27, 2004, issue of the Chicago Tribune, Gary says that the PBGC letter to United is not something that happens every day in the article titled United Airlines' plan to end pension payments illegal, agency says.

And, in the July 28, 2004, Airline Woes Threaten U.S. Pension Agency article for Reuters, Gary stated that PBGC has limited options.
