Alvaro I. Anillo's broad practice encompasses all aspects of employee benefit plans, from designing and establishing innovative plans, advising plan fiduciaries, and litigating complex benefit claims.  He has particular expertise in benefit claims adjudication.  Mr. Anillo devotes substantial time to serving as inside counsel to a group of related multiemployer pension and welfare plans, and in that role has come to understand the inner function of benefit plans and the challenges they confront on a day-to-day basis.  Mr. Anillo also is experienced in collective bargaining over benefits.
