Alexander P. Ryan is an associate in the firm's litigation practice group.  He represents ERISA plan sponsors, administrators, trustees and various service providers in a variety of complex litigation matters.  His recent representative cases include the representation of mulitemployer pension plans, single employer pension plans, public pension plans and investment consultants and other plan service providers.  He has experience counseling and representing clients in matters before and involving the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Labor.  Prior to joining Groom Law Group, Mr. Ryan practiced commercial litigation for several years, representing a variety of clients in the banking, insurance, and corporate sector.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ryan has been active in state and national bar organizations.  He is currently a member of the board of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia Young Lawyers Section and the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Affiliate Assistance Team.  Mr. Ryan is also a past member of the American Bar Association's House of Delegates.
