Lars C. Golumbic is a principal with Groom, focusing on litigation matters related to ERISA, including lawsuits involving plan sponsors, recordkeepers, actuaries and other service providers.  As part of this, Mr. Golumbic defends plan sponsors and plan service providers in governmental investigations, and he counsels clients on fiduciary matters related to ERISA.  Mr. Golumbic also represents clients on matters related to plan funding and termination.  These representations may involve Title IV of ERISA, which establishes a plan termination insurance program for single-employer plans administered by the PBGC, as well as withdrawal liability and funding rules relating to multiemployer plans.
