Junior Litigation Associate

Our litigation group is seeking a junior associate with one to two years of relevant employee benefits or litigation experience. The associate would represent clients in federal agency investigations, class actions and other litigation matters related to the management and administration of retirement and healthcare plans. The associate may also work on matters related to clients' retiree health obligations, the funding of pension plans, and other pension and health liabilities in connection with bankruptcies, restructurings outside of bankruptcy and corporate transactions.

Associate  - ERISA Fiduciary

Groom Law Group, a prominent benefits firm located in Washington, DC, seeks to hire a mid-level (2-4 years) associate to join our expanding Fiduciary practice group.  An ideal candidate will possess legal experience working on ERISA fiduciary issues, including, for example, plan investments, fiduciary governance and fee disclosure.  Familiarity with plan services arrangements and investment products is a plus.  Candidates with experience in securities and banking law and an interest in ERISA are also encouraged to apply.  Strong academic credentials, excellent analytical skills and writing ability are essential.  If you wish to build your legal practice on a broad range of fiduciary issues working with high quality clients, you are encouraged to apply to become a part of Groom's successful and expanding fiduciary practice.
