Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship

Groom Law Group participates with corporate counsel and other law firms to support the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program. The goal of the program is to promote academic excellence and diversity in law schools by awarding scholarships to newly accepted law students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Since September 2006, we have funded a Groom Law Group Scholar for $10,000 per year for three years of law school. Our first Scholar graduated in 2009 from Fordham University School of Law. This year, we continue our support of the MCCA Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program by funding our second Groom Law Group Scholar for $10,000 per year for three years of law school. He attends Northwestern University Law School.
