Jeff Kroh's Snapshot of Life at Groom

Following four years in a large firm environment and not long after joining Groom, I quickly realized what an incredible opportunity it was to be here as an employee benefits attorney.  From the high quality attorneys and staff to the diversity of our outstanding clients, I knew I was in the right place.  Although "opportunity" is difficult to measure, one particular example may help you understand why Groom was the perfect fit for me.

This opportunity started several of years ago when I, as an associate, was asked to be part of a team of attorneys traveling on a client pitch for a specific project.  At that time, I could not have imagined the great feeling of professional fulfillment that I would receive due to this initial visit.  That visit began a long relationship and has resulted in Groom and many of its attorneys becoming trusted advisors for this client.  The opportunity to be on the team, and to later manage a significant amount of work as our relationship with the client grew, was due to the confidence Groom showed in me as an associate and also due to the invaluable mentoring I received along the way.

This confidence and mentoring enabled me to develop into a trusted adviser for a number of our clients.  The guidance and opportunities that I received as an associate helped to prepare me for the increased level of responsibility and new opportunities in my role as a principal at Groom.
