Kevin Walsh's Snapshot of Life at Groom

As a summer associate, Groom offered exactly what I was looking for.  I wanted to do big firm quality work, but I also wanted mentorship and opportunities to do meaningful work right away.  Groom provides both.  After my 2L year, I split the summer between Groom and a large international firm with offices in several cities. Both experiences were great.  At the end of the summer, I knew I wanted to go to Groom because I was not only able to meet everyone at the firm, but also to develop relationships with lawyers ranging from new associates to senior partners.  Additionally, I was able to meet with clients, work with partners, and enjoy many of the social opportunities that firms offer.  At Groom, I’m looking forward to developing an expertise in ERISA in a friendly and fast moving environment.

On another note, the view from Groom’s office overlooking the White House is fantastic.
