Groom Contributes to the Haitian Relief Effort

In recognition of the incalculable damage and suffering caused by Haiti earthquake, Groom has made a contribution to the American Red Cross earmarked for the Haitian relief effort. Moreover, Groom's Pro Bono Committee is dedicated to helping individuals and entities impacted by the disaster. Our attorneys are available, on a pro bono basis, to assist with adoption, income tax and employee benefit issues arising in connection with the tragedy (including issues related to qualified disaster relief payments).  Additionally, we can assist charities formed to assist with relief efforts obtain their 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and prepare related filings.
