Sweetnam and Winters participate in Deferred Compensation: Policy and Practice Conference

Groom Law Group is a sponsor of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness and the ERISA Industry Committee for a half-day conference entitled "Deferred Compensation: Policy & Practice" on December 5.  Attendees will learn about the importance of innovative deferred and executive compensation policies to American competitiveness.  The program will highlight both sides of the debate — how to comply with current rules laid out by Congress and the IRS and whether these policies make sense for America.  Bill Sweetnam and Brigen Winters will participate on a panel entitled, "Practice: Solving Last Minute Problems and Avoiding 409A Pitfalls."
