Community-Based Organization Services

Groom attorneys provide various pro bono services to community-based organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  Recognizing the importance of the success of local businesses, especially in financially difficult times, Groom attorneys have reviewed small business coalitions' 501(c)(3) tax status, drafted business vendor contracts and volunteer handbooks for community coalition fundraising events, and created and reviewed community business diversification plans.

Groom has assisted Adams Morgan Main Street Group, an organization that works to enhance the local Adams Morgan business area and preserve its multicultural dynamism.
