Groom attorneys support a wide variety of pro bono representations.  Here are just a few examples on how we make a difference:

Women Empowered Against Violence (WEAVE) works closely with adult and teen survivors of relationship violence and abuse, providing an innovative range of legal, counseling, economic and educational services.  WEAVE attorneys represent domestic violence victims in protection order, custody, divorce, child support, immigration, and other related cases.  Groom works with WEAVE to review qualified domestic relations orders that WEAVE prepares for its clients.

Founded in 1889, the Jane Addams Hull House Association is one of Chicago’s largest non-profit social service agencies.  Their mission is to improve social conditions for underserved people and communities by providing creative, innovative programs and by advocating for related public policy reforms.  Groom assisted the organization with its employee benefits obligations.  Groom's work helped to protect pensions and maintain the Association's charitable mission and resources.
