Groom’s nationally recognized Health and Welfare Group provides expert advice and counsel on a broad spectrum of health care matters to large employers, managed care organizations, insurance companies, third party administrators, benefits counseling firms, and a host of other clients.
The attorneys in Groom’s Health and Welfare Group are regularly called upon to advise and provide planning assistance to employers, trustees, administrators, boards of directors and other plan fiduciaries and professionals on a wide variety of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and tax issues. Our attorneys have followed health care reform through all of its stages up to where we are now, implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Currently, we are answering questions for clients about what health care reform will mean for them, and assisting them as we navigate the regulatory and implementation process.
