Groom Law Group in the Community

Groom recognizes the importance of charitable efforts and our professional responsibility to become involved in the community to benefit those in need.   Our Pro Bono Committee is dedicated to ensuring that every client – pro bono or otherwise -- receives the same exceptional level of service, care, and attention from Groom attorneys.  Although our pro bono efforts are naturally geared towards providing tax and employee benefit services to non-profit organizations, we also strive to make an immediate difference in the lives of those in need.   Our clients define us and make us proud; if we can help, please contact us at probono@groom.com

Our Pro Bono Committee, chaired by Elizabeth Thomas Dold, is tasked with developing and implementing policies and programs to increase pro bono efforts at the Firm, within the legal profession, and the community at large.  We are focusing on the following efforts to achieve our goal:

  • Support – Encourage and support the participation by all Groom attorneys in pro bono activities.
  • Train – Identify areas of the law that are in need of pro bono legal assistance and ensure that Groom attorneys are trained and supervised to provide that needed assistance.
  • Contribute – Seek out opportunities for Groom attorneys to give back to the community.
  • Partner – Develop relationships with non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the lives of those who need support.
