Jacob W. Eigner advises clients on a wide array of issues including qualified retirement plans, compliance with the Department of Labor’s fiduciary rules, investment due diligence, and contractual relationships with service providers. He also has experience handling litigation on behalf of ERISA plan sponsors.
Jake joined Groom Law Group full-time in 2021 after previously completing the firm’s summer associate program. As a fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law, he has published articles on the proliferation of investing based on environmental, social, and governance factors in defined contribution retirement plans.
Prior to his legal career, Jake was a vice president at the largest privately owned registered investment advisor in the country, where he marketed 401(k) funds including qualified default investment alternatives directly to plan sponsors.
