Principal Rachel Leiser Levy will join the American Bar Association’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefits to present “The Legislative and Regulatory Process with Benefits Legislation” on Thursday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Drawing from her experience as former Legislation Counsel at the Joint Committee on Taxation where she developed and drafted numerous pieces of pivotal employee benefits legislation including the Affordable Care Act, Rachel will offer insights into the legislative and regulatory process related to recent benefits and compensation changes, discussing not only how the branches may interact during the process, but how the process may have changed over the years and in light of COVID-19.
