Dold Comments on IRS Amendments List

Elizabeth Dold was quoted in the TaxNotes article, “IRS Releases New Amendments List for Employee Plans” by Matthew Madara on December 14, 2016.  The article discussed IRS Notice 2016-80, the required amendments list, released on December 13, 2016.  Dold commented that the explanation provided in the Notice is helpful because it will help plan sponsors make decisions of whether they need an amendment or not.  She commented that the notice “has a similar look and feel to the cumulative list but is more user-friendly focusing on the type of plans.”
