Groom’s 2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Update highlights the firm’s ongoing efforts, accomplishments, and goals in this fundamental area. A key component of our culture and general processes, the report lays out Groom’s DEI Action Plan and features the progress made towards achieving a number of our goals. The update makes our path forward clear and demonstrates the importance of diversity at Groom by drawing attention to the steps we’ve taken to make our workplace more diverse, equitable, and inclusive for our employees and clients.

“From educating high school and college students from historically underrepresent groups about the practice of law to hiring diverse 1L students, Groom has continually expanded our initiatives and efforts to improve diversity within the legal profession. Furthermore, in reflecting and building on the progress made in 2022, I am looking forward to a new year with new goals and a continued commitment to make positive changes that start within Groom and its own DEI applications to recruitment, advancement, and development,” said Viv Hunter Turner, Chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
