Lawyers of Color, with its global online community, is devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. The process for selecting its “Hot List” honorees employs stringent selection criteria, with their selection committee of editorial staff, fellows, and advisors reviewing nominations from mentors, peers, and colleagues, researching promising candidates, and narrowing down final candidates to those with noteworthy accomplishments.
