In this webinar, Groom attorneys will provide an overview of the recently issued wellness plan regulations issued by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC)” under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (“GINA”).

The new proposed regulations were issued in the wake of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in which the Court struck down aspects of the EEOC’s existing wellness plan regulations, including provisions regarding the financial incentives that may be utilized for purposes of the ADA and GINA. Our attorneys will provide an overview of the new proposed regulations and discuss the potential implications to wellness program design and administration both in the near-term and in the future.
