Kathryn Panish is an associate in Groom’s litigation practice group. Her practice focuses on representing clients in complex healthcare related litigation and seeing clients through the full scope of legal proceedings, including pleadings, discovery, and trial. In addition to her healthcare practice, Kathryn represents clients in 401(k) plan litigation and ESOP litigation.
Prior to joining Groom, Kathryn was an associate at an AmLaw 10 firm. She represented clients in litigation, internal investigations, and arbitrations concerning a wide range of causes of action, including business torts, antitrust, judgement enforcement, and collection issues. She also clerked for the Honorable Jon S. Tigar, of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
As a law student, Kathryn was a research assistant for a faculty member who was preparing a treatise, as well as clerking for California Senator Dianne Feinstein as Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and interning for the Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell, of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
