Groom principal Thomas Roberts was featured by Bloomberg Law in the article, “Biden Rolls Legal Dice by Proposing Fourth Fiduciary 401(k) Rule,” where he explored Congress’s delegation of authority over financial advisors.
Bloomberg Law reported that Roberts said that “Congress anticipated a clear difference between financial professionals who hold themselves out as investment advice fiduciaries and those whose recommendations are part of a sales pitch.”
According to the outlet Roberts continued, saying “that was and remains settled law, and it’s how the Fifth Circuit ‘told us to do it.’”
