Groom senior counsel Arsalan Malik will present at the 38th Annual Fiduciary Risk Management Conference, hosted by the Fiduciary & Investment Risk Management Association (“FIRMA”). The conference, a premier event for fiduciary risk management professionals, kicks off in Orlando, Florida on April 28 and will run through May 1, 2025.
Arsalan will participate in the “ERISA Update” panel on Monday, April 28, at 4:45 p.m. ET. He will provide critical insights into recent developments surrounding the Fiduciary Rule and its impact on Individual Retirement Accounts (“IRAs”). His discussion will focus on the Department of Labor’s ongoing regulatory efforts concerning IRA rollover and distribution recommendations, as well as the implications for financial institutions navigating these evolving requirements.
