Groom’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (“DEI”) Committee resumes its support of Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, D.C. Area (“APABA-DC”) for its upcoming Awards & Installation Gala. The annual event will take place on Thursday October 5, 2023 in Washington D.C. The gala will feature a fireside chat from the Honorable Ambassador Katherine Tai, the nineteenth U.S. trade representative and the first Asian American in that role, and recognize this year’s APABA-DC annual award winners.
The oldest and largest association of Asian American and Pacific Islander (“AAPI”) attorneys, judges, law professors, and other members of the legal profession in the nation’s capital region. APABA-DC’s mission is to encourage and promote the professional growth and advancement of AAPI legal professionals, raise awareness of the critical issues facing the AAPI community, and facilitate their members’ involvement in the community-at-large.
