Groom Law Group, together with its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (“DEI”) Committee, will sponsor the Western Justice Center’s (“WJC”) Empower Gala on September 28 at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
The Empower Gala celebrates students in the Los Angeles community who exemplify WJC’s core values: empathy, empowerment, equity, inclusion, and impact. The event will include the presentation of the Center’s inaugural Dorothy Wright Nelson Peacemakers Award to three honorees. Recipients of this award are selected for their inspiring efforts to organize their fellow students into a force for peace, justice, and equity in the wake of tragedy.
