Yahoo Finance featured a recent interview by Groom principal Allison Itami in the article, “How retirement advice morphed into a decade-long political fight,” where she explored similarities between this year’s proposed fiduciary rule and its 2016 counterpart.
According to Yahoo Finance, Itami said that “while some of the legal framing has been changed, the two efforts across two Democratic administrations are ‘remarkably similar [and] policy-wise, they’re going after the same goal.’”
