The Departments of Heath and Human Services, Labor and the Treasury recently published a new Interim Final Rule (IFR) addressing several provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). That rule included new limitations on plans imposing pre-existing conditions exclusions (PCEs). The attached article addresses some frequently asked questions regarding this new requirement.
