Lou Mazawey is quoted in the article, “IRS Issues MAP-21 Adjusted Pension Funding Segment Rates,” in the August 23, 2012 issue of the CCH Standard Federal Tax Weekly. Mazawey comments on the adjusted pension funding segment rates by the IRS to reflect the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).
He says, “The good news is that the rates (in Notice 2012-55) are higher than anticipated, especially the third segment”.
