Hisham Amin is on the planning committee for the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 37th Annual TIPS Midwinter Symposium on Insurance and Employee Benefits. The conference will take place January 13-15, 2011 in Miami Beach, FL.
Alvaro Anillo will serve as a speaker on the panel, “Hot Topics in Benefits Litigation,” which will focus on recent developments regarding conflict discovery and attorneys” fees issues. The discussion will also cover the use of interpleader device by fiduciaries and plan administrators to assist in resolving more complex benefits disputes, as we as new developments regarding QDROs.
