Juan Luis Alonso and David Levine will serve as speakers in the “ABA Section of Taxation 2012 Midyear Meeting.” The meeting takes place from February 16-18, 2012 in San Diego, CA. Mr. Alonso will participate in the “Employee Benefits International Update” session on February 17th.
His presentation will focus on recent changes under Puerto Rico law that affect retirement plans intended to qualify for favorable tax treatment under the laws of Puerto Rico and expected additional guidance on Puerto Rican plans participating in group trusts. Mr. Levine will participate in the “Employee Benefits Legislative Update” session on February 17th.
