Groom principals Katie Amin and Kelly Geloneck will participate in the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) National Insurance Symposium in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

On Thursday, October 15, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Kelly will moderate and Katie will serve as a panelist for “Trump Accounts: From Legislation to Agency Guidance—A Practical Update.” The session will provide a practical overview of Trump Accounts, the new tax-advantaged savings vehicles for children established under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, with a focus on the employer contribution program under Section 128 and the latest guidance from the Treasury Department, IRS, and Department of Labor. Panelists will also discuss key compliance and planning considerations for employee benefits practitioners and in-house counsel as the regulatory framework continues to evolve.
