To benefit Gifts for the Homeless, Groom’s band, “Solely in the Interest,” will take part in the 20th annual Banding Together, a spirited battle of the bands fundraising event where members of DC’s legal community compete to raise funds for goods and services for DC’s homeless community. Groom is excited to again participate in the nine-band competition taking place on Thursday, October 26th at the Black Cat in Washington, DC.
For over 30 years, Gifts for the Homeless has provided essential winter clothing items and blankets to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, transitional housing facilities, and other homeless support organizations for D.C. residents.
