Groom Webinar: Deadlines to Amend Cafeteria Plans and FSAs Are Approaching (September 30, 2021)

Attention…Deadlines Approaching!  This year started with opportunities to allow employees to make cafeteria plan, health FSA, and dependent care FSA election changes, to do FSA carryovers or extended grace periods, and more. Then in the spring, employers had the opportunity to allow employees to increase DCAP elections to $10,500. The IRS provided time to amend plans incorporating those changes, but that deadline is approaching – December 31, 2021 in most cases.  Are you ready?  In this webinar, we will discuss these requirements, with a particular focus on what cafeteria plan and FSA amendments are needed and when.
