Groom’s Litigation Team Hosts Court Hearing Academy

Groom attorneys in our litigation practice were able to put their courtroom skills to the test during the group’s second annual mock trial. Trial participants ran two simultaneous hearings where they argued all aspects of a motion to dismiss on a 401(k) fee case. Over the course of a day, and under the guidance of the firm’s senior litigators, associates and counsel received direction on delivering oral arguments in a simulated courtroom environment, providing them with the opportunity to better understand pre-, mid-, and post-trial procedures.
