David Powell will participate as a speaker in the Washington Non-Profit Legal & Tax Conference on March 20-21, 2014 in Arlington, VA. His panel is titled, “Developments in Deferred Compensation for Exempt Organizations (Section 403(b) and 457).”
The Conference will cover, among many other important topics, the State of the IRS: Post-TIGTA; an update from the Hill, IRS, and Treasury; state nonprofit oversight developments; private foundation excise taxes; trade associations; lobbying and political activity and the Bright Lines Project; and nonprofit mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions.
